Joplin Restaurant Damaged in Fire

A popular Joplin restaurant was damaged in a fire late Friday night. According to the Joplin Fire Department, the fire was first reported in the attic area of Jim Bob's Steak and Ribs at around 9:30pm. The kitchen and storage areas sustained moderate smoke and fire damage, as well as water damage sutained during firefighters' attempts to stop the blaze.

As of now, the cause of the fire is unknown and still under investigation.

25 people were inside the restaurant at the time the fire was reported; nobody was hurt.
