Santa Visits Freeman NICU, Pediatrics, Delivers Gifts

Some local families got a surprise visit from Santa Claus at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin today. Freeman's Heather Lesmeister tells News Talk KZRG what kind of gifts Santa, Freeman, and the Children's Miracle Network brought for the tiniest of patients.

"Children's Miracle Network provided some teddy bears and reindeer for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. We're lucky enough to only have one patient in Pediatrics, and she's getting a portable DVD player and some movies."

Parents got gifts too: every parent in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit also got a free, color, baby video monitor. See photos of Santa's visit here.
