Joplin Schools Receiving Bus Funding

The Joplin School Dsitrict is among five Missouri school districts who will receive federal money to replace old school buses with more energy-efficient versions. The Missouri Department of Natural resources says the districts will get funds of up to 25 percent of the cost of a new school bus. That equates to up to $20,000 for Joplin Schools. Other districts receiving the funds are Clever, Hannibal, Ozark and West County.
