Her roof was left in tatters by the May 2011 tornado that pushed through Joplin over two years ago. That's why Cheryl Bertling is thankful for Rebuild Joplin.
"They redid the roof, paint job, fence, deck, redid the ceilings in the house, and worked on the plumbing. Without them, I'd probably have to have it demolished."
The organization held a housewarming for her home at 1701 Kentucky this morning. 51 volunteers put in 471 hours of work on the home... that's a value of over $10,000.
