State to Prosecute in Pittsburg Murder

Amie Ryburn and Charles Mitchell remain in jail on charges of first-degree murder today.

They're accused of killing 29-year-old Ian Monaghan in a field near the Oak Hill trailer park in Pittsburg Monday night.

The Sheriff's Department says they're turning over prosecution of the case to the state. Assistant Attorney General Steve Karrer will handle the trial.
