Probation for Sex Offender

Its probation for a convicted sex offender who failed to register with the Jasper County Sheriff's Department.
News Talk KZRG has learned that 25-year-old Matthew Reed was given a plea deal to only spend three years behind bars and then Circuit Judge Gayle Crane suspended that for five years of probation.
Prosecutors say Reed sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl around four years ago in Carthage.
